The Actual P’s of Contemporary Capitalism and Marketing
Capitalism & Marketing Mix: The true story
Imagine an alien student studying human-kind getting hold of a Marketing text book. Sooner or later, they’d get to the chapter about the four P’s: What were they again—oh yea, Product. Place, Price, and Promotion. Reading further, they’d go on to learn that a few additional Ps were amended on by some Doofus PHD academia: People, Political, Packaging, and the misleading list goes on.
In practice however, what that alien would ultimately come to observe as the biggest P of contemporary capitalism and marketing: Problem. Which problem is that?
The printing of paper and plastic packaging for promotional purposes
On a scale not in favor yet massive, its not only emotionally hurting us
Its burning us, scorching the earth adding value worth—no landfill’s dearth
Solution: Avoid consuming and supporting of products and companies who contribute to this problem–i.e. those who produce a bulk of litter by individually packaging to promote and brand the masses–whether talking about bulk printing of fliers, ads, plastic branded bags, individually wrapped crap, etc. Use your power. boycott the PP heads!
