The fact that he ran to Britain to begin with seems to be a sign of his alliances. He is also likely to find out that betrayal is coming one day from his new benefactors. I'm reminded of all those defectors during the Cold War. They expected they'd be taken care of by the West.. and, of course, were not. Thaksin will be thrown to the wolves eventually. I think Thaksin is completely legit not returning to Thailand for reasons of safety, though think if he is to be charged, should be done in neutral territory, though it likely may never come to that even. May he and his partner in crime at least do something laudable for the Thai nation with all their riches other then hire poor farmers to cause mayhem for reasons of revenge.
