I couldn't stop dreaming and thinking about Thailand, not to mention, I still had much unsolved family mysteries waiting for me in Thailand. I worked ever hard than and had a one way ticket purchased by October for the following February. I'm not sure what my American family thought--perhaps that I was going on a short trip to complete a blurred family chapter, and that I'd be back soon, of which I did return for a short 4 month spell in 2003 with a round trip ticket ending in Thailand, which only made me love Thailand even more.
