From the eastern flank of the Nan river, you are viewing the Western bank of the Ping river---the modern / central market--downtown of Nakhon Sawan. During the Chinese New Years, boats bring visitors back and forth from the central market to pay respect to the Chinese shrine on the western flank from the very early to late hours.
