Nakhon Sawan (Nakorn Sawan นครสวรรค์)

Bak Nam Po (or Pak Nam Pho as it's spelt here) ปากน้ำโพธิ์ subdistrict is the closest civilisation to Ban Mai village. Bak Nam Po is considered the origin of the mighty Chao Phraya river, where the Nan and Ping rivers merge. The current subdistrict of Bak Nam Po is located on the western flank of the Ping river---what covers the central Nakhon Sawan market. Contemporarily, Bak Nam Po referred to both the Western flank of the Ping and the Eastern flank of the Nan river, where many of the buildings and places are are titled with Pak Nam Po. (i.e. Pak Nam Po train station, temple, school, etc.)
