Nakhon Sawan (Nakorn Sawan นครสวรรค์)
The Dock boat as the locals call it represents a glorious water life once been.. Now the rotting faded wooden boats are mainly used as ferry like transport to cross the rivers that thrive mainly during festivals such as the Chinese New Year. As the cost of fuel rises, so does the passenger cost. As of 2007, its 5 baht per person to cross to the Chinese Shrine directly opposite of the central market, or 10 baht per adult to cross to Dalat mai area a kilometer up the Nan river (near Pak Nam Po railway station)
The diesel powered vessel is the most convenient and quickest way to cross Bak Nam Po. By car however, one must deroute several kilometers along the Chum Saeng highway to Decha Bridge crossing the Chao Praya at the south end of Nakhon Sawan.
