The Concrete Ghosts of Bangkok

After the Thai economy boom and crash in 1997, many developers packed up and left in the middle of construction. What was left was dozens of unfinished rusting projects including skyscrapers, mass transit, roads, and overpasses. Alot of concrete and steel gone to waiste. Some groups have encouraged the government to scrap and reuse the remains, but others warn the instability for safety issues.
